On The Scene Produces Event for 900 Guests at Navy Pier’s Aon Ballroom!

On The Scene recently planned and delivered a large client appreciation event in Chicago for a financial services technology company. Held at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier, this fun and interactive event allowed 900 guests to experience Chicago’s rich history of art, style and culture. Throughout the ballroom, guests visited multiple Chicago ‘vignettes’, which highlighted the dynamic sights and sounds of this great city. The vignettes included:
Contemporary Chicago Blues: A modern take on the classic Chicago Blues experience, featuring blues inspired décor and entertainment.
Classic Chicago Speakeasy: Step back in time to the roaring 1920’s in Chicago, including sophisticated and sleek decor and casino games entertainment.
Chicago Music Festival: Chicago hosts several of the most popular outdoor summer music festivals. This vignette featured lively interactive entertainment (airbrush tattoos, photobooths and live screen printed t-shirts) along with festival style food and beverage.
Summer in Chicago: The outdoor space off the Grand Ballroom provide a casual and breezy environment with assorted yard games and summer style cuisine.
Throughout the event, the energetic and versatile band replicated the various musical genres from jazz to classic Chicago blues to today’s current hits, along with costume changes for each set.
