In what started as a cattle hall over 100 years ago, Øksnehallen is now the premier special events venue, located in Copenhagen’s central Meat District. Recently, On The Scene operated its first European program, delivering an unforgettable dinner event for over 650 guests. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed by a hanging illuminated display, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As guests entered the dinner area, they were greeted by rows of tables distinguished by different designs representing the colorful buildings lining the quaint streets of Copenhagen. After dinner, the after party represented the hip and artistic side of Copenhagen. Graffiti art and modern Danish furniture brought the space to life. Guests hit the dance floor grooving to the modern sounds of Side Project, a DJ and drummer combo, flanked by a 3D stage display. To finish off the night, guests enjoyed delicious Copenhagen ‘street food’, authentic hot dogs and sausages served from a local food truck. Prosit (cheers)!
