Natural History Museum – San Diego

Posted on February 17th, 2014

Natural elements flowed throughout the Rooftop Terrace and in the lower level’s Sefton Atrium at the Natural History Museum in San Diego.

Designs of grape root and natural wood created a beautiful contrast to the cage bar on the roof for cocktail hour. A collection of birchwood highboys with bleached wood tops were scattered in between a trio of lounge groupings featuring three round banquettes hosting an organic design of hearty nierenberg succulents and eggplant toned floral in natural containers.

Guest tables were set with low boxes of lush foliage, succulents, grape root and floral in white and green tones with touches of purple surrounded by a dark wood Tuscan chairs.

On the Scene was amazing to work with for our recent program. The team took the time to really listen to my ideas and incorporate them into her overall pitch and execution. I felt confident that she had my back through the entire event. They were accessible and friendly – even with last-minute phone call requests and long conversations to help me think through options. I highly recommend On the Scene and will be working with them again soon.
