Chicago Event Management Company On the Scene Spanned the Globe in 2015
Posted on December 28th, 2015
As 2015 comes to a close, we thought we’d take a look back at some of the memorable events we planned this past year. As a national Event Management Company, On The Scene is a proven leader in creating unforgettable experiences. Whether it’s a product launch, corporate event, or team-building activity, we work closely with our clients to bring them an outstanding event that is specifically tailored for their audience. Our team works closely with caterers, entertainers, and audio visual support teams to bring together a unique and distinctive event.
We were honored to help create some extraordinary events this past year, in cities all over the country – and Europe!
Dinner Event at Øksnehallen in Copenhagen, Denmark
Last winter, we were thrilled to operate a European program at Øksnehallen, the premier special events venue in Copenhagen, Denmark. On The Scene created a unique and unforgettable dinner event for over 650 guests. Our designers infused the feel of Copenhagen into every aspect of the event, from the table decor that was designed to represent the colorful buildings of the city, to graffiti art and modern Danish furniture. The after party featured music from Side Project, a DJ and drummer combo, who joined a 3D stage display. At the end of the night, a local food truck served authentic Copenhagen street food. It was truly an incredible event.
HIMSS Conference Client Reception in Chicago
In April, we planned and managed an evening reception for the 22nd Annual HIMSS Conference in Chicago. Held at the 19 East Event Gallery, the event had a contemporary and urban feel to match the venue, which was formerly a power plant. Guests enjoyed cocktails in a spacious outdoor courtyard decorated with contemporary and modern tables and a specialty bar. The inside of the venue was uplit in complementary tones and highlighted four company logos. We created a warm and inviting environment in which guests enjoyed a delicious buffet and danced to rhythm and blues music from the Chicago Catz.
Pharmaceutical Launch Party in Las Vegas
Over the summer, On The Scene partnered with a global pharmaceutical company to coordinate their Launch Meeting at the Venetian and Palazzo resorts in Las Vegas. A Las Vegas Destination Management Company, On The Scene helped coordinate event logistics and transportation for over 2,000 attendees. An evening party was held at the Venetian pool to kick off the five day meeting, and our design team added in several event elements, including: large floating marquee letters, floating LED glow balls, interactive poolside games, photo booths, and a fantastic DJ. OTS also helped create the perfect end to the corporate event, with a final celebration at OMNIA Nightclub, located inside the opulent Caesars Palace. OMNIA was named Best New Nightclub by the Las Vegas Review Journal, and offers breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip. We created a customized experience for the group, with personalized visual graphics, lighting, and special effects. We also planned a delicious menu featuring diverse food stations.
The American Bar Association’s Annual Meeting in Chicago
On The Scene planned and managed an interactive reception in conjunction with the American Bar Association’s Annual Meeting in August. The event was held at River Roast Chicago, which is located on The Chicago River and served award-winning contemporary American tavern food. Featuring spectacular views of Chicago and the water, and spectacular entertainment from a Blues trio out on the terrace, the reception was quite the event. Guests also boarded water taxis for an architectural tour along the river.
Origami Owlette Night at the Field Museum
In October, a custom jewelry company, Origami Owl, held their National Convention, ‘Find Your Happy!’ in Chicago. In collaboration with the Origami Owl planning team, On The Scene helped manage and deliver their recognition event, Owlette Night. Our main goal for the event was to create a custom branded experience in the vast space of the Field Museum. We were sure to feature Origami Owl’s color schemes and images, by creating custom color washes, gobos, and banners. Held in the Stanley Field Hall of the Field Museum, it was an unforgettable evening of food, recognition, entertainment, and memories.
